Frequently Asked Questions

We are here to help.

How many guests does your venue accommodate?

At C&C by the Lake, our wedding venue can accommodate up to 325 guests. Whether you’re hosting an intimate gathering or a larger celebration, our stunning lakeside property offers ample space for your ceremony and reception. With both indoor and outdoor settings available, you can choose the perfect location to fit your vision.

What are the limitations when decorating?

At C&C by the Lake, we want to ensure your event is beautiful while maintaining safety and preserving the venue’s integrity. When decorating, here are a few important guidelines:

  1. Candles: Must be enclosed with the flame staying below the height of the container when lit. This ensures the safety of your guests and the venue.
  2. Decorations: Non-permanent decorations are encouraged. However, they should not cause any damage to the property. We recommend using light, safe materials for your designs.
  3. Attachment Restrictions: Avoid using nails, screws, command strips, or anything that leaves sticky residue, as these can damage the surfaces.
  4. Confetti & Glitter: For easy cleanup and to keep the venue pristine, glitter and confetti are not permitted.

These simple rules help maintain the venue’s elegance while ensuring a safe and stress-free environment for your celebration.

What is allowed for send-off?

At C&C by the Lake, we allow several beautiful and safe options for your wedding send-off. You can choose from bubbles, cold sparklers, glow sticks, and fiberoptic wands to create a magical and memorable exit. However, we do not permit confetti (including balloons with confetti inside) or biodegradable rose petals, as they can create cleanup challenges and affect the venue’s pristine condition.

Can I have both my ceremony and reception indoors?

Yes! At C&C by the Lake, we offer two flexible options for hosting both your wedding ceremony and reception indoors:

  1. Indoor Ceremony and Reception Flip: After your ceremony, we can transition the space from ceremony seating to banquet-style reception seating. This flip takes approximately 20 minutes, during which your guests can enjoy the beautiful views of our lake from the deck while sipping on a beverage. For an additional fee, we can provide an assistant to help with the setup during this transition.
  2. Banquet-Style Ceremony: Another option is to have your ceremony with guests already seated in banquet-style seating, allowing for a seamless flow directly into your reception without any need for a setup change.

Whether you prefer a quick seating flip or an elegant banquet-style ceremony and reception setup, C&C by the Lake offers the versatility to make your indoor wedding day perfect.

What is the rental time for the event?

At C&C by the Lake, the facility operates from 8:30 AM to midnight daily, giving you ample time to enjoy your wedding celebration. The final hour from 11:00 PM to 12:00 AM is reserved for vendor and site cleanup, ensuring everything is left in pristine condition after your event.

Will there be a clean-up fee?

At C&C by the Lake, there is no standard clean-up fee; however, we kindly ask that you take care of a few tasks by the end of the rental period. This includes removing any personal items, disposing of trash in the designated dumpster, wiping down tables and countertops, and picking up any visible debris from the floor. If you need help with packing and loading your decorations into your vehicle, our cleaning crew is available for additional services at an extra cost.

What is your policy on alcohol?

At C&C by the Lake, we have a list of highly recommended bartenders who can provide excellent service for your event. If you prefer to hire a different bartending service, we simply ask that they be pre-approved by our staff to ensure they meet all necessary requirements. All bartenders must provide the following:

  1. An updated bartender license.
  2. Liquor liability insurance with C&C by the Lake listed as an additional insured.

This policy ensures that all alcohol-related services are compliant with legal and safety standards while maintaining a smooth, enjoyable experience for your guests.

Are we allowed to bring in our own food?

At C&C by the Lake, for the safety and well-being of all guests, we require that all food served at your event comes from a licensed and insured caterer. While cooking on the premises is not permitted, we do offer a prep kitchen for catering teams to use. Additionally, we provide a recommended vendor list featuring trusted caterers to help you choose the right service for your event. If you wish to bring in your own catering, please ensure it meets these safety standards.
