A Winter Wonderland: The Susich Wedding at C&C by the Lake

On January 11, 2025, we had the pleasure of hosting the Susich wedding at our charming lakeside space, and it was nothing short of a magical winter wonderland! While Arkansas weather can be unpredictable, the day brought a soft, picturesque snowfall that set the stage for a truly memorable celebration in the heart of central Arkansas.
The lakeside scenery took on a breathtaking glow as fresh snow blanketed the grounds. The Susich couple fully embraced the winter theme, capturing stunning outdoor portraits in the snow—complete with cozy wraps to stay warm. Their cheerful corgi, complete with a floral collar, strutted down the aisle to everyone’s delight. In a nod to their beloved pup, they also placed corgi figurines on top of their two-tiered wedding cake, which was accented with pearls for an elegant touch.
Inside our venue, the Susich wedding party stayed warm by the draped fireplace altar. The bridesmaids wore burgundy dresses, complemented by burgundy and white floral bouquets featuring Tess roses and graceful amaranthus. Lush greenery cascaded around the fireplace, creating an enchanting, cozy ambiance for their vows. The rich burgundy tones against the backdrop of snowy white surroundings made for some truly stunning photographs.
After the ceremony, guests enjoyed a festive reception. The couple took advantage of the wintery weather by setting up a S’mores bar—a guaranteed crowd-pleaser! Surrounded by glowing lanterns and aromatic greenery, guests toasted marshmallows, shared laughs, and indulged in gooey, sweet treats. The warmth of the crackling fireplace and the delicious smell of melting chocolate made the perfect contrast to the snowy scene outside.
From the shimmering snowflakes outdoors to the romantic glow of the fireplace inside, winter weddings at C&C by the Lake offer a distinct enchantment.
