Portraits & Pours: Where Wedding Planning Meets Creativity
Set against the scenic backdrop of our Cabot, Arkansas wedding venue, Portraits and Pours invited couples to explore personalized table arrangements, sample signature cocktails curated by mixologist Zach Strange, and even take home a one-of-a-kind caricature from local artist Jared Hogue. The atmosphere was warm and relaxed—perfect for dreaming big about the big day.

We’re thrilled to announce our upcoming partnership with C.A.S.T. for Kids, a heartfelt event coordinated by @hunter_baughman_fishing. Dedicated to children with special needs, this special day of fishing and fun ensures that every participant leaves with lifelong memories and their very own fishing gear—completely free of charge. At C&C by the Lake, we love hosting events that bring joy and purpose to our local community.
Real Wedding Spotlight: The Tripp Wedding – Elegance Meets Resilience
One of the most unforgettable celebrations we’ve hosted was the Tripp wedding, a bold black-and-white vision adorned with pampas grass, soft feathers, striking florals, and dazzling marquee lights. But while the aesthetic was flawless, the day came with a twist—a 100-year flood swept through the area, knocking out power and washing out local roads.
Did we panic? Not for a second. Our experienced team went into action mode, shuttling guests safely, powering the event with generators, and delivering our all-inclusive wedding package seamlessly. Most guests didn’t even realize a crisis had occurred. That’s the difference a prepared and passionate wedding team makes.
The night stayed electric thanks to DJ Multitalented, who brought contagious energy and kept the celebration going strong. Though he wasn’t part of our standard package, he felt like family—and we were so lucky to have him.
